Picture Composer can be run in one of two modes:
Standalone Mode
Distributed Mode
In Standalone Mode, Picture Composer and the Display Server are run on the same PC.
In Distributed Mode, Picture Composer and the Display Server Processes are run on separate machines. In this mode, several displays can be driven simultaneously, however, each display will require its own PC.
Also in Distributed mode, any Bitmaps/Graphics that will be displayed need to reside on a shared network drive. Please contact us for more details on this if you need further clarification.
